Gavin Lucas – Chief Executive Officer

Gavin joined Westcom Group in 2007 expanding and creating Westcom into the first turnkey Telecommunication Construction Company in Western Australia. Gavin’s extensive understanding of managing contracts and experience in personnel management has provided the leadership required for Westcom Group’s rapid expansion. Gavin continues to provide exceptional leadership and business management leading Westcom Group forward.

Eddy Gaidzionis – Business Development Manager

Eddy has over thirty-five years of experience and knowledge in the Telecommunications Industry, working on turnkey projects in both Australia and in the Pacific. Eddy’s broad knowledge covers a wide range of applications including Mining Project FMG Solomon Spur, Rail Project Digital Train Radio Systems Sydney and Mobiles Sydney 2000 Olympics. Eddy’s broader industry knowledge and extensive understanding of management processes, including civils construction, rigging and technical operations provides excellent customer service for customers and leadership for the project management team.

Cameron Mitchell – Construction Manager

Cameron is a fully qualified electrical professional with good experience in project management. Since joining the company in 2017, Cameron has played a vital role in developing the organisation’s civil construction division. His strong leadership skills and expertise in the provision of construction services contribute significantly in the development of the close and positive working relations with all Westcom Group’s key stakeholders.

Nick Moodie – Operations Manager

Nick is a highly-skilled and result driven manager with over fourteen years’ experience in managing a range of technical operations including all engineering, customer and field services across the Telecommunications industry in Australia, PNG and Scotland. At Westcom, Nick’s extensive business experience and project management skills has contributed to lead the team to deliver outstanding services and fulfil the responsibilities of managing current works and develop future business to meet all business objectives and client satisfaction.

Jamie Carey – HSEQ Manager

Jamie is a highly-skilled and passionate HSE professional with strong understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards within Forestry, Commercial and Civil Construction and Gas & Iron Ore sectors across remote and regional Australia. Jamie’s passion for Health and Safety both supports and strengthens Westcom Group positive safety culture, HSEQ Policy and company visions. Jamie’s exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, provides strong leadership for the implementation and monitoring of the company’s HSEQ Integrated Management System and training requirements. Jamie‘s experience and extensive understanding of the legislative, economic and social aspects of workplace health and safety practices, ensures that as Westcom Group and its workers evolve, Westcom Group can continue to provide a high standard of health and safety in the workplace to achieve the main goal of Zero Harm.
